S.I. Kudryashov took part in the negotiations of the Russian Government’s Chairman D.A. Medvedev
The General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC S.I. Kudryashov took part in the negotiations between the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev and the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina M. Dodik.
A meeting of theChairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev and the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina M. Dodik was held on October 19, 2019 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. The President of the Republic of Srpska Ž. Cvijanović, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation A.V. Novak and the General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC S.I. Kudryashov took part in the meeting.
Among other issues, the parties have discussed the results of Zarubezhneft’s activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the downstream segment. M. Dodik has noted the strong performance of the Russian state company in the region, including significant tax contributions to the budget of the Republic of Srpska as well as the high social responsibility of the company.
Apart from this, the bilateral negotiations of M. Dodik and S.I. Kudryashov took place, in course of which the parties have discussed the prospects of the Russian company’s activities including new business directions development as well as the company’s plans regarding the current assets for the year 2020.
The parties have noted mutual satisfaction with the cooperation upon the results of the negotiations.
Zarubezhneft JSC has been implementing downstream projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2007. The group of companies is comprised of Brod Refinery, Modriča Motor Oil Plant, Nestro Petrol fuel stations network and Optima Grupa company. The enterprises are currently producing oil products complying with the highest European standards: Euro 4, Euro 5 fuel and lubricants, and the distribution network of fuel stations covers 18% of the Republic of Srpska’s market.
The enterprises are the largest taxpayers of the country, since the project implementation commencement the Russian investor has paid over 2.6 billion Euro to the budget and extra-budgetary funds of Bosnia and Herzegovina as of year-end 2018.
At the moment more than 2 thousand persons are employed in the group of companies.
